Who Am I?

Such a meaningful song by Casting Crowns. I will never understand the depths of His love.
_______________________________________________________________

Who am I?
That the Lord of all the earth,
Would care to know my name,
Would care to feel my hurt.

Who am I?
That the bright and morning star,
Would choose to light the way,
For my ever wandering heart.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.I am yours.

Who am I?
That the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
And watch me rise again.
Who am I?
That the voice that calmed the sea,
Would call out through the rain,
And calm the storm in me.

A year older, A year wiser?

I have been enjoying myself over the past few weeks catching up with relatives and friends from all over. Have been getting different comments from people,
“Wah, cannot recognize you!”
“Changed your glasses?” (which I’ve been wearing for a year now),
“So, got Aussie bf ar?”
“Don wan to come back already issit?”
BUT, I like this comment the most, “Nolar….you didn’t put on weight la!”

Its been close to 3 weeks since I came back and as I was traveling to Ipoh, I felt that my jeans was a bit tight, haih! So, it means time to eat less and exercise!!!! So people, make sure you help me safe money so that I don’t have to buy new jeans ok?

Anyway, as I was looking around the people in church, the kids and youths have grown up! And I have grown……more mature! Just one year and man, such a big difference!

Even as I start 2007, I hope to grow in wisdom, stature and to be more and more like Jesus!

My little brother and little sisters at youth camp! Oh.....no more little anymore, I look more like the little one!

Prayer of Thanksgiving for 2006

Dear God,

Thank you for holding my hand and guiding me through my life this past year. You have stretched my mind beyond what I can imagine. You’ve blessed me with so much that I can never thank you enough for all you’ve done.

Thank you for expanding my capabilities, opening new doors for me to learn, helping me recover from emotional hurts, learning to trust you in all that I do and giving me grace in times when I have failed to please you.

Thank you for new friends, new learning environment, new accommodation, new working experience. Thank you for a good family and good health.

Thank you for walking me through the wide and narrow paths, the mountain peaks and the valley lows of 2006.

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deut. 31:8
